if you have your expired GC & your extension letter, you can travel with no problem at all. I’ve been traveling for the past 2y with my expired GC and the extension letter, no one never said anything (I would say around 10 trips).

@Jahan Anwar You are fine to travel. The extension letter is “green card”. People who should not travel are those with criminal charges or prior immigration fraud or illegal crossing.

please DO NOT travel without a valid card. Especially with this administration hard stance on immigration.

@Jahan Anwar I am traveling with the same situation next week. I talked to the lawyer and she was not scared at all. She said all I need is my expired card, extension letter and valid passport. As long as you don’t have criminal record they will not deny your entry. I did not ask about divorce waivers applicants though. based on what I read lately, people with DUIs are being held. Having a green card is a privilege, we are blessed and guests in this country. I completely agree with them to force those guests to respect and follow the laws in order to keep living here. Go to others social media platforms and search. You will read many positive experiences.
