Travel to India in Advance Parole
Hi All, My Priority date is 5th Oct 2022 and GC is done in EB1C. Currently my I485 status is : Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken. Medicals is also done. I have approved advance parole till 2030 Feb. Would like to go on vacation for a month in July. Is it safe to travel

I am in a similar scenario. I was told that we can return on Advance Parole if the green card gets approved while outside the country. However, no visibility on if it gets rejected. Did your status change to fingerprints taken after RFE response was acknowledged? If yes, your approval must be very near.

Not a problem at all, i have travelled on AP 4 times on short visits like 3 weeks to a month. No questions at POE , be ready for secondary room which is absolutely normal, no questions other than any cash, any food etc

I travelled twice on AP via istanbul without any issues please check if AP is acceptable via Europe.

@vik jo, I got a notice indicating we need to pay 1000$ for immigration parole fee. Did you not get charged for that? Are EB1 ppl exempt? Any idea who needs to pay this 1K$?

@S Y - I received the notice but not applicable for us, didn’t ask anything at POE, not for us actually

@S Y -With pending I485 are exempt from this, refer point no 7 on Page no 2
