Hi guys I have a pending asylum but i got my travel permit through vawa is it possible travel to home country after withdrawal pending asylum . Please give me suggestions Or does anybody have same situation going through

@R K Once you travel to your country that asylum is null and void and it can lead to you being in removal for claiming asylum and traveling to the country you claim your life is at risk. Even if that asylum is approved you can’t travel to your home country. The only time you can travel to your country is if you never applied for asylum or if you do, when you finally become a citizen.

@R K if you withdraw your asylum case and it is approved and close without a notice to appear, you can travel.

I have been in removal proceedings based on pending asylum, after motion for dismissal of Asylum case was approved, I traveled to home country there was no issue. Asylum terminated in Jan 2023 and traveled to home country in sep 2024
