Immigration Process

Hi has anyone here expedited their travel permit? how long did it take? I lost my dad on Christmas Day but I am taking his remains home for burial which will be in late February. I expedited my  advance parole a couple days after as his wishes were to go back home for burial.  When I got my work permit my lawyer did not file travel permit with it so it was done after which is over a year now….. none the less she did not hesitate and put in the papers to expedite the exact day and got a receipt number but how long do they usually respond? Anyone?
