Travel out of US with Valid AP
hi All,
we are planning to travel out of US next week and we have Valid EAD and AP for next 5 years.
we do not have H1b stamping to come back and we are planning to use our AP to come back to US. Is there any risk at Port of entry? we have used AP last year also and it was smooth but due to these EO by president (specially h1b one last Friday) we are little scared and skeptical
any inputs are valuable. pls guide if we should go ahead with our travel plans?

we travelled in July without any issue, new changes shouldn’t impact AP travel.

there are 2 scenario depends on the employer I know many of my friends once they got EAD and AP they stopped the h1b extension went to India for vacation enter USA using AP successfully. if green card is denied for any reason there is no backup they have to go to India .

in my case I got the EAD and AP my employer is still doing h1b extension by for tracellling to India I am have used EAD and AP twice there is no issues at all . my employer will do extension until I get my green card but I will be using AP and EAD for my travel. both scenario will work without any issues . if ur green card application is pending for more than 180 days considering the visa extension and transfer days it is better to use AP and EAD for travel based on my situation I saw
