travel experience on advance parole
travelled to my home country on advance parole and came back today after 3 months, at JFK . this was my second visit to my country on advance parole and everything was pretty smooth today. I was taken to the secondary inspection and waiting for almost 10 minutes, the officer called my name and gave back my passport, EAD and advance parole travel document.Not even a single question was asked this time.

same experience, i traveled back to my home country stayed 2.5 months, secondary inspection 15 minutes wait and no questions asked, this was in Dulles Virginia airport.
i overstayed my visa prior filing for VAWA

@Lucas Menezes yes, man dont worry, secondary is a big waiting room with more people waiting, you will have to wait to call your name! Im traveling again in March

what if you have a criminal record ? my supposedly wife called the police in me saying I tried to strangulate her but it was all lie I was still charged and arrested by conoleted probation and had the case reduced from felony to misdemeanor even tho she sent affidavits to the DA and court saying she was lying that’s why I file for VAWA. question is can I travel out and come back ? I’m supposed to receive my commit card pretty soon.

@Austin Texas I landed at JFK an hour ago. I spent less than 2 mins in secondary inspection. I was only asked to confirm my NY address. Easy, no headache! to everyone with your AP, ignore the noise and those who try to instill fair. it's safe and easy!

I just came back yesterday from Mx using my combo card. Everything was ok, I just got asked for hw long I was out the USA
