A candid advice is for you to pretend that you still don’t have a parole that is encouraging you to want to travel. Think twice…….

@Awesome God you’ve said it all! @kiran manne I honestly find it annoying when people come here to ask this question about AP, before you got your AP approval weren’t you living okay without seeing your family? So if you leave the states now and get refused entry, will you be happy with that decision? Just forget about travelling dear and go make some money instead 😁

@kiran manne what picture is on your combo card? is it the one from your i485 biometrics? or the one from your i131 biometrics?

I made 2 trips to Mexico and came back with no issues. I am going to India now. If you got an advance parole then use it unless your lawyer suggests otherwise.

@kiran manne I was out of status before I got approved and I don’t have any plans of using my AP, better safe than sorry. oh the i131 photo was used for you, does your combo card have your fingerprint on it?

@kiran manne exactly, same on mines. but without my i131 or i485 photo, they used my passport photo I included initially in filling my applications

I have combo card " but my lawyer doesn't recommend to travel out of the country because I had few entries before I got this status " anyone in the same situation?

@God is great " I am not sure but my lawyer recommends traveling as VAWA and U VISA waives any Bars. she also mentioned that people with multiple deportation orders came back without any issues on VAWA.

I took her advise and it worked.

@Ray 0724 I travelled with AP with no issues. It was a smooth process coming in the country. Did you get SSN with your EAD or you personally applied for it? if so, how long was the process? ty

@ryo san got my Ssn along with the EAD approval notices, then after few days my Combo card got delivered to my lawyers office.

I traveled with the combo card, I had no problem entering, if you don’t have a criminal record there will be no problem

@Ray 0724 oh good for you, I didn’t receive mines so I went to the ssn office like I told you before, it’s been almost 3 weeks now and I’m yet to receive anything 😞. So you didn’t have to go in the office to apply?
