I recently traveled with a conditional green card, had no issues
lily XanderJun 13, 2025
@Anastasia C was that before the recent changes, and or did you have any trouble re entering
Kingsley BJun 13, 2025
@lily Xander Why are you worried? Having a conditional or 10 year are the same. You have the same rights as a 10 year. If you are worried about travel bans, it makes no difference regarding entry to the US.
green card holders can be denied entry if you fall into a category that would make you inadmissible. If you are from a banned country, you may face more questioning when returning.

@lily Xander I came back May 30th
no troubles re-entering, only got asked where did I go and how long
lily XanderJun 14, 2025
@Kingsley B bcuz I've been seeing and know persons who getting denied and they do not fall in any of the categories nor their countries being banned. haven't you heard what's new persons with conditional are more highly to get denied over 10 year, and in order to travel we will have to request documents and get it approved

@lily Xander I think you are uninformed about what is required. If you are close to the end of the expiry, you need to apply to have those conditions removed prior to travel but can only do so within the 90 days of the expiration. There are only extra rules for deportation if you have had a greencard for over 5 years.
There are ZERO documents needed to travel unless it is for an extended leave.
