It is part of the process. All i-485 from service centers are transferred to NBC for further review and wait for visa availability. If interview is needed it will be sent to a field office near to you or when interview is waived NBC adjudicates it if visa is available for your based on your priority date.

it means they have approved I40. They only transfer I485 with approved I40. Congratulations. The reason they transferrd the case is for interview to be scheduled or adjudication on I485. if you i40 is not approved, your case will never be transferred. On the transfer notice, you will see language like we completed the underlying review of your case and it is now ready to be scheduled for interview, we transfer the case to NBC for interview to be scheduled. Your appeal was granted and your I40 is approved. You will only know this at your interview or when your i485 decision is sent. CONGRATULATIONS

They say: In order to speed up processing, we transferred the application or petition listed above to the following USCIS office for processing: National Benefits Center. That office (Texas) will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need addicional information.” Praying and waiting…

It is part of the process. They changed it last year that all approved i-140’s from SC(service centers) will be transferred to NBC. NBC will then check if you have an available visa based on your priority date if not then its a waiting game.

Dan B We received a denial on our Appeal some months after, but noting happened with the I-485. I don’t think it interfere in anything.
