Transfer from NBC to non-local FO
hi, I filed i140 and i485 in Oct 2023 with current PD, ROW. I140 was approved in April 2025, received RFE for expired medical in March 26 and response was received at NBC on April 2026, now I get the info from congressional liaison that it was transferred to LA field office??? I was hoping to get approved in the next days, but now I am devastated! any advice or anybody in a similar position?

mine was transferred from NBC to Baltimore FO in May 2026. pd August 2022.

I’m in the same situation. My case was transferred from NBC to the Tampa non-local field office on May 11, and there has been no update since then.
I submitted a congressional inquiry last week and am currently awaiting a response.
For those who have submitted a congressional inquiry, how long did it take for USCIS to respond, and was the response helpful?

@ neil G Hello, NBC is making a decision on this i 485. If your i 140 is approved, then your green card is being prepared.
