1135 days passed for my I 485 application. PD is 04 November 2020. Just cleared the interview on 10 April 2024, still now case is in local field office . No update yet

@sam you should take your files back to your local office in case because when you did FOIA, your files would move to NRC (National Record Center) for scanning as your request. It will be still there forever if your local officer does not request to take them back. It means you will not make a final decision from them. I had the same situation as you before. When I checked with Emma, they told me that my case was located at SRC (Texas Center), and I told another agent, they told me my case was at the National Record Center (NRC). I must make an inquiry and my case was sent back to the local office. Then they processed my case again. After that, my case was approved by them.

if i were you, I would sue the USCIS, it's now or never. Catch a top immigration lawyer, and then sue them. 🤷♂️

@Dennis T i talked with officer and he told me my case is at NVC but since the visa number is not available i have to wait . but how long damn!!
