Timeline National Benefits/Denver,CO
I just wanted to share my timeline! Thanks to God this is over and I’m starting this new journey. Keep praying and stay positive that sooner than later you’ll get yours. @Denver, CO/NationalBenefits Couple weeks After the interview I got my GC I the mail, I had to go to the Social Security Ad. Office to apply for my SSN. it took around 2 weeks after I applied to get it in the mail. I never received an EAD and that case# was closed weeks later because I already had my GC and SSN. it felt like years but at the end of the day it wasn’t too bad/long. My advice: Just be patient, call USCIS as many times as you need to, if you have any questions ASK. Save every dcument that you send them REF/Proves/etc.

you will not be needing I-765 and I-131 once your I-485 is approved, correct?

correct. if your 485 is approved before the I-765, you can just go to the SOcial Security administration office and request a SSN, with that you can legally work, so the EAD wouldn’t be needed and USCIS will automatically close that case for you.
