timeline for marriage GC
I filed in Sptember 2023 but since October 2023 I have the message “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS” but no changes since then. on the other hand, I have asked for an advance parole since my grandfather was very sick, unfortunately he died and the advanced parole never arrived. I am wondering if the advanced parole is affecting my case right now when I don’t need it anymore since he already passed away. does anyone know if I should remove my advance parole request? does this help the greencard process?

it has no affect on the process.

I’m sorry to hear about your Grandfather. 😢😢😢
I’d leave it as is. Most people who are adjusting status apply for the I-131 and the I-765 at the same time as the I-485.

my advanced parole got approved at 11.5 months. still waiting at 12.5 months… you’re still within reasonable timelines. things have slowed down lately

We both filed at the same time and I'm still in the actively reviewing status as well.
