I am a 2022 filer too. I too, just like many of us, strongly believed that the April VB should have moved the dates significantly closer to Feb 2022 where it last was before retrogression and where it was suggested to be in last July’s bulletin. Since that is not the case and seeing how hard it is to believe anything that USCIS mentions in any VB, it is hard to imagine 2022 filers getting anywhere closer to Feb 2022 PD before oct 2024. A lot depends on what the DOS is doing with the additional 10,874 unused visas that was mentioned a few months ago in the FAQ updates. Well, to summarise and respond to your question, I feel 2022 filers (that is until Dec 2022) will likely get their PD only towards early CY 2025.

@Atharv A - my PD is Nov 2022.
@Regular guy - I have the same thoughts , it’s a wait and watch game for now!

I highly doubt 2022 filers will get lucky this year or next year, My PD is OCT-22 and I was also very hopeful that in APR Visa bullet it will move to 2022- Feb, Also there is lot of porting happening from EB2/3 which will cause more delays to 2022 filers, Very disappointing.

Dec 2017 and still waiting. This is not FIFO and that’s the bottom line (cause stone cold said so!)

Mine is Nov 2022. AP, EAD and I140 approved. Currently responding to RFIE relating to supplement J. Waiting is the only action which would happen for this year, I suppose.

@GC long what is your PD?

I’m Sept 2023 but using my wife for chargeability - she is in ROW. Just hoping that the person reviewing the documents understands that. From what I hear, cross chargeability is a hit or miss.

Hi, my PD is Oct 2022 as well. Got EAD and 140 and yet to apply for AP. My L1 is coming up for renewal later this year. Should I renew the visa or switch to EAD and apply for AP? I am thinking of trying visa renewal so that at least I have an option to fall back to if something goes wrong with I485 processing. Please let me know your thoughts

@Blueridge 456 It is always advisable to stay on active visa till AOS is completed.
