Timeline for approval after PD becomes current!
Hi everyone.
My question is, does USCIS has a timeline that they should approve your case after your PD becomes current?
My PD is June 16,2021 and it became current this month. My process is currently at a Field Office in Indiana. I live in Massachusetts!
My husband and I have sent RFE (Medicals) to them back on September/22. I guess it probably expired.
Jow long should I wait to request a response on our case, or even contact the senators?

I don’t know why it shows EB3-1 on my timeline but I’m EB-3 Unskilled.

pd June 2021 still same case remains pending since 1210 days
no RFE medical expired in Aug 2024

my pd is January 2021 my friend is November 2020 we havent received anything so it depends on your luck

Hi Maya. No one has an answer for your question. What I’ve noticed is that after your PD becomes current, it takes 1 to 2 months to receive a RFE, Interview or Approval.
But also there’s people that looks like they were forgotten by USCIS and has no update after months being current and others that is taking one to two months to get an update.
I don’t think contacting a senator will accelerate a process, they usually get a generic answer from USCIS.

@F C Got it! Thank you so much. We need to be positive, but it’s taking sooooo lonnnnng. I didn’t want to bother them with request specially now.
