Hello, Have you ever contacted a Tier 2 Officer regarding your F2A case pending at USCIS? Was he/she able to help you speed up the process ? I previously tried to put a service request but it did not help. I also contacted my Congress and Senator Offices without any success. My husband and I are tired of the wait as most of us on this app. Every suggestion / advise help! Thank you all for your incredible support. #vermont #f2a #I-130 #France #USCIS

It is honestly very hard to say what Tier 2 and Tier 3 officers can do to speed a case. I think they have more information and potentially more tools to understand what is going on with a case, but I am not too sure what they can really do. Maybe try to contact a Tier 2 and request to speak with a Tier 3. I was not very successful with that, but it seems like they would the ones with the most resources to help.

thank you DC what is the difference between tier 2 and tier 3 officer ? Are you also waiting for your case to be approved ?

I don’t have the same case category or service center, but yes I am waiting for my case to be approved and contacted Tier 2 and 3 a few times. I am not sure about the difference, apparently from what I was told they are the highest ranking officers that can call you. When I contacted Tier 2 and he could not help me, he requested a Tier 3 callback. Again, I am very confused on how much can either of them actually do for your case.

how do you contact tier 2? when i try to call its always the machine

You will need to request a Tier 1 officer to be contacted by a Tier 2.

I know there are some ways to bypass all the machines questions. I usually just say question regarding expedite request.

you need to say « INFOPASS » when you call the 800 number and they put your through a tier 1 officer
