Hello friends,. Yesterday marked 5 years since I sent my application to USCIS and I still haven't received a response. My question is, when my residency is approved, will I have to wait 5 years to submit my citizenship? Someone who has had the same experience, could you help me with your experience please?Hola amigos,. with the south border crisis and thousands of people applying for asylum daily, the upcoming reality is very sad. 5 to 10 years is minimum wait time for an interview. you will get citizenship 5 years after getting green card, which you will get about 2 years after getting asylum approved.
