This is my first time asking here,please I want to know how long it takes USCIS to acknowledge receipt of request for evidence(RFE) I mailed in my response over a week ago and it has not updated.
I want to know how long it takes for them to acknowledge it& how to know if they actually got it.

Last time I did it .. it took 3 weeks

it took 6months for mine to be acknowledged.

It took my cousin 87 days to receive a text with a receipt number, but he hasn't received the actual receipt yet.

@Miguel C 6 months? I am worried because my deadline is September 5th so I want to be sure they received it. So there’s no way to know before time if they received it? My application has the IOE09 number.

@Koblinski s thank you so much for your response. I asked because I have deadline of September 5th and since the RFE is medical, I can’t scan it online& I need to be sure they received it.

@i can't wait to see if the green card is really green. I have a receipt number already,it’s been a long time,this is for medical RFE which I have sent in over a week ago.
