@ Louis K yes I’m waiting for the welcome letter from NVC then I will need to submit the Ds260 application for green card and all my documentation.

@Louis K - yes I still have a long way to go and more hurdles to jump. I’m just hoping the next few stages move along a bit quicker. What country will you be having your interview?, I know some of them are backlogged more than others. I hope you hear something soon 😊

@John R - well that’s the strange thing - only late last week - the 13th I believe. They either actioned it straight away or it’s a bizarre coincidence.

@Any Day Now - I just found our local state representatives website by googling his name. On the contact us section there was an option that said get help with a federal agency and USCIS was one of the options in a drop down box. I’m not sure if all state representatives have the same on their website, but I’m sure they would be able to help you in some way.

@soso y - yes we sent a message on the 11th last week to see if they could help with pushing this forward somehow. I got my approval last night and assumed it was the state representatives office that had helped. I just got a callback from them saying they had sent a email request only yesterday so it may have been a pure coincidence and I would have been approved yesterday anyway.
