this is fucking ridiculous
we filed August 21 . we are still waiting. we have sent multiple service requests, contacted our congressman who was no help and yesterday we filed a case with the omdudsman. how much longer is this going to take, so unfair.

@jade jagger ombudsman usually takes 4 weeks to review your request then they will let you know if they can help you or no
I submitted my request last month and they just got back to me 4 days ago asking for more evidence to support my request

we have the same date, same year! I’m right here with you. I reached out to ombudsman 3 weeks ago and haven’t heard back. also did the congressman and multiple inquiries. my case is at Memphis field office, where is yours?

@M A our FO is SLC, Utah but our case was transferred to the Chicago FO in 02/18/23 nothing since then , no approval, no update , just silence. not even sure what to do .

@jade jagger has your I-130 been approved? I got my medical RFE in January and now they just turned around and sent me another RFE for something that was sent with the original application… they said they would make a decision on my case once they got my response but they got my response almost 2 weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything. they haven’t even let me no that they received the package. it’s so frustrating. I’m sorry, I hope this will all be over for us soon 🫶🏼

@Long Journey wow I feel your pain! what is going on over there? I live in Boston and I legit feel like jumping on a flight to Memphis and being like hello… lol. I hope we get through soon, I’m having such a hard time lately. the more time the passes it’s killing me

@M A nope, I-130 has not been approved , they told us it will be adjudicated with the i-485, but we haven't even had an RFE from them , no interview ,nothing . I sent my medicals with my packet because we thought it save some time , but obviously not.

@jade jagger Where you in removal proceedings? The SLC FO is really slow in processing cases, other cases I’ve seen took over 2years to get approved
