On a scale of 1-10, how bad is the situation? @Ivan R yiur lawyer said it’s okay to have a pending GC application via marriage and be able to enter for GC lottery? Cause that screams red flag all over if for any reason UCIS pulls up his pending 485 and sees that, I would think that would definitely complicate every!

lottery dont have any negative effect on your pending application. Its give you another opportunity to get a Green Card. if u won your pending application will be close because you already have a Green Card through other means dont be misled. No negative effect as long as you re eligible to do so.

@Am Otieno i am not sure if i Will apply i am still hoping to get an answer by 7 months when I reach 35. because I have read that if you got the lottery you need to do a year home country presence! anyway! I Will keep you updated!
