hello, I am waiting 30.11.2023 😭
Kar (NIW) PD-Nov 2023’Jul 30, 2024
I’m 15-11-23
but as of today, the average that was 6months is 10months.
A lot of PP, has delayed the review of our cases I guess., Plus the priority is on the ones that can get the AOS, because they are “current”.
note: the info is just based on redd!t, and some forums I read, at the end… no one knows.

The average that I saw at USCIS website was 8.5 months.. and that's why it is also showing that the e-request (service request) can be filled from 31/07.
After filling the e-request, I will wait around 3 weeks until I start calling them.
If I don't succeed, I will lodge a complaint with DHS and wait one week.
If I still don't succeed, I will file a lawsuit against them. I am tired of this game.
This whole process is a joke. Complete lack of respect with everyone involved.
People getting approved before others who lodged their applications way before (not talking about PP).
If there are people paying for getting priority over others, fine.
The money should be invested in hiring more case officers to clear the backlog.
This lack of progress blocks people's lives, plans, events, actions... get people anxious and affect badly on their mental health.
But who cares, right?

@eb2 guy Several people after your priority date in TEXAS already got their petition approved or denied. Seems like it depends on who got your case. Some officers are faster than others

@eb2 guy Unfortunately, this works like that. Many people get stuck in this unknown mystery with no specific pattern.

Hello. My prority date is 25/10/23 Nebraska service center. Im software developer. Same situation, still waiting🫤
Tong PoJul 30, 2024
@eb2 guy where do I check if the service request is available?
eb2 guyJul 30, 2024
After having a discussion with a lawyer, it changed my perspective.
I was checking the processing time wrongly. I was selecting "Advanced Degree or exceptional ability (E21)" and the right one is "Advanced Degree or exceptional ability requesting a National Interest Waiver (NIW)".
Then, the processing time jumped to 9.5 months and the date for the service request also jumped to 24/12. 😰
I will need to wait a bit more before I can execute my original plan. 😔
@Anto A you can check the service request date on "Processing times" page. Go a bit down the page and find the field to enter your Priority Date.

Just relax a little bit. We are all on the same boat, but it is not on your control. Gods time is perfect. Cheers

@Mrs Mrs apparently they assigned my case to a case officer when I received the famous email "we've taken an action on your case" on 04/04/24. In practical terms, nothing happened. The lawyer said that once it happens, it is a case officer being assigned (there's no official evidence supporting this information, this is what he believes)... anyway... if it's true it's almost 4 months that the case has been assigned... 🤦🏽♂️

@Mr LB B this is a test of how good we are at controlling anxiety... I could control it fine for 9 months... but now, knowing this new info, I think I can control it a bit more. thanks for the words!
