did any of you get the white paper ? or the IO said it was approved verbally ?

yes got the white paper with the box checked that said ‘background checks pending’ no rfe or anything. - also officer said nothing

no nothing I just did the interview without sign or taking a pic

My is 19 August still no updates

@Z E trust me, I’m trying. Doesn’t mean some of us have to wait months just because. it’s normal to worry and get discouraged, wondering what could be wrong?

I get it - the wait is killing me also - but nothing we can do about it. literally nothing

@Jay Jay my officer hinted at approval and gave us two papers: one she made us sign and was section 216 notice, which said my green card would be conditional upon approval, and the other one said my interview was under review. she just said she had to check the evidence we gave her that day, but the interview was quick and without any troubles.

yea I didn’t go through the signing and picture process too ,but I heard some people do

@Mich Millionaire yeah!! I’ve seen you around. I try to keep myself busy, but I wish I at least had an EAD to fall into.

The officer make me sign a paper also he take my pic after that he take my 2 finger print.

@Z E have you tried any help from congressman or something, since yours has taken so long? You’re right. Most times I tell myself it’s gonna come eventually, but I guess I’m just an impatient person.

But I have little problem cause I missed one doc like I-130 during my interview the officer asked me about i don’t have it

They gonna send a mail to me to send the doc back to uscis

if they were going to deny you - it would happen quickly in my opinion - like a week or two after the interview they would RFE you or NOID you.

They will probably send a document to your home requesting that missing paper from you. I’m mostly annoyed at the uncertainty and I wish I was one of those people I keep seeing who get their status change after a few days, or even the same day. But oh well

yeah the open ended feel to this makes me very angry. if they had just said you’ll get approved but it’ll take 12 months I could just live with it

I am going to sue USCIS if my case ends up outside processing times. that’ll will be in November. Thsts my plan of attack - at least that way I’ll have an answer by Easter.

my interview was easy only basic questions maybe 20 minutes ....She took some papers and photos for evidence ... then she write something on my passport A#21954.......IR6 section245QNSNY 5/18/21 and Your signature on the bottom

probably a pre approval by the looks of it. you have nothing to worry about - I don’t think any of us do - just a waiting game

What means security question? I had my interview i-485 August 19 the officer only asked me the security questions.They don’t asked any evidence

I did mine on aug 11 , he said will approve I I-130 in two weeks still nothing. and will review I-485 background check. here I’m prying nothing wrong .

my interview was on july 20 and ı’m still waiting decision. the case status shows that interview was scheduled. nothing changed it’s been 38 days.

august 11 and still waiting , status online says “ fingerprints were taken for 11 months “ , got an rfe handed at the interview for a missing form , submitted back next day with overnight mail. no updates online , just waiting .

The wait is awful. My I-130 just got approved, but I don’t want to celebrate, because I know some of you guys have yours approved and you’re still waiting a long time for I-485

yes! I got the notification from Lawfully, and I went in 100% convinced it was just a comment notification, but it was actually the approval (I-130 only).
