the only option is the ombudsman office
I’ll contact the ombudsman office tomorrow and get their assistance. the congressman was useless. the only response I got was expendite request denied even though I didn’t request it. I talked to USCIS and they said don’t contact us before Jan 2024.. ridiculous and upsetting

Sorry to say, the ombudsman's office won't be of much help either. I wrote to them and they said I'm within normal processing time and if I had a expedite request they would have been able to look into it. let us know if they were helpful

it is really sad and not fair when you see ppl are getting approved within a year. would be nice and helpful if we do know why it is taking so long 😴

Average processing time for I 485 depends on the field office which can be checked on the uscis website..

@S S No it’s not 50 months. This is a US Citizen filing for a spouse the current average wait time for the Vermont Service Center is 14.5 months

@S S I’m not sure why you are saying that? For this particular case the average processing time for the I-130 is 14.5 months. I’m at the same service Center with my I-130 and same case type
