The journey end!!
Everything was smooth except for the final step. I-485 was stuck is pending status for quite a while. Finally reached out to Congressman to place an inquiry on the 12th of this month. Don’t know if that did the trick but I got approved within 10 days after placing the inquiry. Good luck to all!!

@Jack Daniels you can search for who is your local congressman. They usually have websites where you can place an inquiry and they will reach out to you shortly.

@Johnson Control My I20 is set to expire this spring. Didn’t want to go through the hassle of renewing I20 or applying for OPT. Current political climate was also making me nervous.

Congratulations @j bs please which county of Texas are you? my PD is April 21, 2023 and honestly I pray things move as fast for me. My date is current now, do you think it’s advisable to reach out to the Congressman now? just feel some of them might not be open to helping out based on their rhetoric to immigration generally. @LarryMark Lanray I am from Maryland. What is filing date? It will probably depend on that. If you filed very recently you may want to wait a while before reaching out. Usually congressman has dedicated employee handling these inquiries. So, don’t hesitate to reach out if your processing is taking longer than usual.
