waiting since Dec 2020, 140 has been approved in premium, I had my bio yesterday, after 11 months of wait.

Texas is so slow now... I wonder if they Are focusing on GC and leaving the combo cards behind... it looks like by lawfully timeline...

what is not easy to appreciate is the delay on the EAD….after bio taken the card should come reasonably quick….

Based on lawfully data, they mainly processed October 2020 - November 2020 AOS EAD cases last week. 2nd month to have the most cases processed from Texas last week was April 2021 cases.

being the EAD valid normally for 12 months, since Texas is taking almost an entire year to process it it does it mean the EAD renewal need to be submitted as soon as the card has been received?

My friend applied her process (EB2-NIW) on October 02,2020. Combo card arrived on February 02,2021. Biometrics on June 2021. I can’t understand how they work…

Mary, if your friend had previously done Biometrics, they probably reused the previous data. EADs typically require Biometrics before being issued. Otherwise, strange that they redid them in June after issuing the combo card. Perhaps they expedited the case.
