For EB2 Rest of the world is taking around 20 to 22 months from the PD to become current in the Final Action dates table. So I would say probably between January or March next year, assuming that the dates in the Visa Bulletin don’t get stalled.

my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt: it's unlikely to see a jump to MAY24 in DOF this October, it's more than 9 months (assuming USCIS reaches dof this year, which is not certain) and the backlog is massive. so I would say fy27 (October 2026) for your PD, but again this is only my prediction after crunching the USCIS data.

@Anto A : Thank you! My prediction is also around September-October 2026 when May 2024 might be current for filing. as my date is end of May so it could even go end of 2026! the wait is SO long! still happy that first step is done.

my prediction is the bulletin will move faster than expected because of the paused cases in the asylum process and refugee applications which will drastically reduce backlogs , cases will move faster and I see the next visa bulletin next week moving to August 2023 or more

@f c yes but USCIS can't issue more than 40k eb2 green card this year. so assuming what you said is true, that could only help fad to reach dof a bit faster, I'm very skeptical to see movement after 1 August, maybe in late summer to generate demand.
