@santi carzola the problem filling separate is that you are telling the IRS and Uscis that you had being living separate for more than 6 moths. This is the rule to filed married filling separate.

@Jay Ayle technically yes. we got married in August last year. and thats when we started living together. so we only lived together for 4 months in the year
