Tax transcripts for Filing AOS
Hi family. please has anyone filed for AOS using the petitioner’s 1040 instead of tax transcript. my husband filed his taxes manually and it’s taking ages for IRS to upload his return.

you can upload last two years tax transcripts along with this year 1040 and W-2 forms for income proof. this will resolve the issue. and you can explain that your tax returns are still not processed by IRS.

when I initially filed I didn’t provide any tax transcripts just the 3 years tax returns (we were late filing my husbands 2020 and 2021 and 2022 was just filed on time) and my case took more than a year so this year I uploaded our joint tax transcript for 2023 and was approved without RFE. @Gracespeaks for me

@Gracespeaks for me personally I did not. you can always upload them as unsolicited evidence when you get them. I got approved. 🤷🏻‍♀️

you can upload 2022 and 1040 plus w-2 for 2021 and 2023. in meantime you can contact IRS if they can expedite your tax returns and when you receive updates from them you can upload those under unsolicited evidences.
