Tampa FO Approved on the Spot 🎉
Firstly, all praises and thanks go to God 🙏🏾❤️ My wife and I had our interview today at the Tampa FO and it went really well! We were called in about an hour after our appointment time. She went through the questions on Forms I-130 with my wife and I-485 with me. She then asked to see an original of my wife’s birth certificate, an original of my birth certificate, and our original marriage certificate. I was an F-1 student and she asked for a copy of my degree as she wanted something to show that I finished the degree which I somehow forgot at home 😭 but I showed her my I-20 with my OPT EAD and she took that. So if you came here on F-1 it might be good to take a copy of your degree with you! Other than that she asked for a copy of our lease. We gave her both the current and the renewal but she only kept the current. Then she handed me some pictures from our wedding that we had sent in our packet and asked me to write the names of the people in those pictures and who they were on the pictures. She then approved us! She didn’t ask any of the how we met or dating questions or anything like that, however, we did meet on Tinder and had sent a copy of our Tinder conversation with our original packet so I’m not sure if that was why she didn’t ask. We also sent loads of evidence and brought with us LOADS of evidence that we never even touched. She was stern, but very nice. The case status changed to ‘new card being produced’ before we even got to the car. All in all it was a great experience! Stay calm, go with God (or whoever you believe in), and just know that is all going to be well. Good luck to all of you!

my fiancé lives in Tampa as well. We’re currently in the i129f petition process, and I’ve been wondering how fast the AOS process is in Tampa. We filed from April 2021 and are still waiting on approval from USCIS for the NVC stage. I honestly cannot handle another year of a wait. What’s your originating country?
