The processing time for Tvisa based EAD application typically runs from 12 to over 28 months. If you have not yet received your biometrics yet this is an indication that USCIS is still in the early stages of reviwing your case and may not yet have started the same. After you receive the biometrics and have attended the same you should expect to receive your EAD with 8months but could be longer.
