ever since I got my AP approved in May I keep thinking my green card will be soon… so A LOT 😂😭

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 Stay positive, it will happen for you guys. I also am curious , which process is taking the least amount of time, Change of status I 485/ I 130 or Consulate. My wife is Thai and we are able to be together in Thailand for now

@Marcus Boeckel typically it’s faster when you’re already in the US and do AOS combined 130/485. because when you’re not in the US it takes about 13 months for the 130 to be approved and then you have to wait for an interview letter and thennnnn get 485 approved.
most AOS are approved by like 6-12 months and you’re done.

I find myself checking this app more than 100 times a day and USCIS at least 10 times. I think I've become paranoid.

My I-130 was approved in 2021. I don't understand why the approval of my I-485 is such a big deal when the interview was already waived.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 I figured it would be quicker that way, it's so hard to get a Thai person into the US that we knew it would be a challenge. I figured we are at 11 months now and hopefully the I 130 approved end of August. Then NVC will add 3-6 months so if all goes smoothly, we're looking at April 2025 finally getting her to the US. Sound about right ??

if you do that this entire process will drive you insane. I've gotten it under control to where I just check before bed or every couple of days.
