yes I filed my 485 with 485 J in January 23, got receipt of my 485on first week of February but got my 485 J supplement receipt on February 10

@Y J it is weird how innacurately they send the receipt notice case by case. I just got it, 88 days after filing

@Carli S yes usually 485j receipt issued after all submission, but it’s a sign they start picking up your document and start processing, based on data, after 485j receipt if people are missing some document they will issue RFE, if every document is qualified then approval should be soon. @Carli S let’s hope for the best

No, not yet, just got it last week. I don’t have any trips planned yet, but I’ll let you know if I do! Hopefully now they speed up AP cases, with less gc getting approved. My husband got EAD approved last week, waiting for AP as well.

@Carla S @m m @Carla S @m m yes I saw, I think they push back and put year 2020 instead of “unavailable”, but for me they are both same, but based on the little side note on the bottom of the page : final action date will advance in October 2024. so let’s hope that’s the case, in the past history there is few years visa bulletin get retrogress 2-3 years for eb3 but auto reset back to normal on October

@m m @Carla S as I keep actively checking the case status website with my receipt block - MSC 249038, the good thing is the “pending “ ( CRP) drop from 59 to 53 in 1 week, so basically they are reviewing CRP case just little slow, but atleast it is moving 🙏🏼I believe this apply to every diff block as well

@Y J that’s good! hope it gets moving like that. In October 1st the pending cases for my block were 92, they are at 87 now. veeeery slowly. most of them were CRP in September for what I checked, I became CRP late July.

@Carla S @m m yes my AP is from NBC, what I know is because AP is not a priority like EAD and GC so only very few officer work on AP hence AP is always slow. I believe it might be true the date someone review our case, they might just have a causal check and oh this guy PD is current, so they going to put our case into decision desk department but there many backlog and case to review so maybe our pile is somewhere in the bottom of the piles. I believe any sort of touching our case even just casually review our file it will trigger the date of someone review our case, just my theory

@m m @Y J yeah I agree, I really don’t understand why so many officers need to review it. like what does it take to be assigned for final adjudication? idk. let’s hope approval comes soon
