I initially submitted to Nebraska but the RFE came from Texas so I guess they transferred my case at some point

Profile as of initial filing (Dec 2023): MPH in Epidemiology Applied 1.5yrs post graduation Research Data Analyst at a top academic medical center (prostate cancer research) 3 publications, 1 citation Profile as of RFE: 9 publications, 20 citations additional certifications speaking engagements at conferences peer-reviewer for multiple journals included 5 independent expert letters from top scientists across the country and internationally Honestly, my profile was a lot stronger when I got the RFE than it was during the initial filing so I was able to include all new accomplishments to show progress. The RFE was a 10 page document that challenged just about everything haha. Took me about 2 months to put my response together by myself and got an approval less than 3 months after submitting. Just really glad the case officer considered additional accomplishments after my filing date - made a huge difference!

@Meui Meui block number starts with IOE09234**** officer number is XM1787 took a month for USCIS to update my account after they received my response. Then it was stuck on “case is still being reviewed” until it finally changed to “case approved”

thanks for your detailed reply @Y D my friend’s is 1 digit block next to yours.. with very close rfe response timeline similar as yours one last question did your case status showed something like this “On July, 2025, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, Receipt Number IOE09235*** . USCIS has begun working on your case again. We will send you a decision or notify you if we need something from you”.

@Meui Meui yes! that’s exactly what it said until it changed on Sep 2 to “we are still reviewing your case…” and literally a couple hours later, it was updated to “case approved”
