Submitted I-130 now K3?
Hello all,
We have submitted the I-130 and received the case number, not via email yet but I was able to view it in the pdf when I went back to check and it said receipt number. Our case went to California service center and I’d like to know at what point can I file the K3 in hopes to get approved a bit quicker? Also where do I find the K3 form? I know I have to print it out and mail it to the service center correct? and it is free of cost?
Lastly, how long does California service center usually take?

filing k3 might take you to other service center that are currently slow and foot dragging . Anyway, k3 is free to file and California take average 10-14months from priority date. you can file k3 a month after your I-130 submission. you can give it a try you might get lucky or get sent to another service center that is super slow. evaluate your options and make a decision.
