Following….Did you expedite through Emma and had to provide documents? Do you mind sharing the full expedite reason?

I had my expedite request denied. so I booked an InfoPass (Emma can help with that or you can call and keep asking automated phone for an InfoPass) Then explained the situation and they gave me a emergency parole for that specific travel (which in my case solve my emergency)

I expidited by contacting USCIS at 800.375.5283. The agent mentioned that the officer may request additional documents within 7 days (if needed).

Reason: Personal financial loss since my wedding celebration is planned and paid for and is at risk.

R C. Thank you for sharing. I might have to take that route. What did this mean for your underlying I-131/I-765? Are they still pending to be adjudicated?

doesn't affect the i131 or i765. but coincidentally enough my I131 just got approved today. i am glad I did the emergency thing anyways though cause the trip is Aug 31st not sure the card will arrive in time

Daniela I am not sure if they will approve. unfortunately it depends entirely on the person you talk to. what I will say is. is a lot more likely someone will understand your situation and approve by looking at you in the eye and listening to your reasons than reading a case on their computer on their own based on what documents you submitted alone.

Update: I confirmed with a live agent today via chat that the request went through the system successfully. I also requested an urgent infopass appointment for the travel. Received an email at the end of the chat that an USCIS office will email/call within 72 hours.

Hoping for any of these outcomes: Best case: EAD combo card approved in time for travel Average case: I-131 is approved for travel Worst case: Emergency parole is granted.

I suppose worst case is none of those but that would be terrible :/

Your Service Request was assigned to the National Benefits Center and given Referral ID number T1B.***.MSC The National Benefits Center should respond to you within 15 days from the date the Service Request was created informing you of what the office has done to resolve the issue you raised. If you do not receive a response to your inquiry or further notice concerning your case within 30 days, please contact the USCIS Contact Center for additional information.
