STRUCK DOWN USCIS POLICY
Two weeks ago, a Federal Judge struck down the 39-country policy that paused all USCIS immigration cases of nationals from those countries. Our marriage based green card interview was canceled a day prior to it due to the policy, and we haven’t heard back from them since. Has anyone from those countries seen any movement since June 5, 2026?

@Joshua OM I think you need to look at how the legal system works and how quickly things actually happen. There has been an appeal filed for the decision. You and countless other people have been impacted. Jyst because a ruling happened, that does not dictate how fast they will resume or when people will be interviewed. The backlog is huge. My husband is a lawyer and I know how backlogged things get in the courts and with agencies that are not immigration related. Immigration is far more convoluted in many ways. Be patient and keep hope. Things will work out. 🙏
