@carlene if u in a abusive relationship and u went therapy or police report was filed take all proof to the interviews and presented to the officers thing may go your way ...if u can prove it no doubt you will get your green and.....good luck.

jen yes i was in a abusive relationship I’ve just 1 police report because the cops act out real bad one night that I’m wasting they’re time I’ve that recording, I went in shelter, he had hurt my finger an i went an get an xray, I started therapy with a counselor. he mentally an emotionally abused my kids. I’ve all those recording an how he calls me a slut in front my kids etc.... I had to move out of state to get away from being abusive to us.

he called said let’s work things out an go council i went back he didn’t go no counseling after he started again because he drink. I left New York in August then my 1st interview was scheduled November 24th we were both going back an forth to see each other i send him money likewise he do, we had no fuss recently i called told him about the interview last week ever since he acting up saying that his son told him not to go😓 which he didn’t.

Jen I actually spoke with a lawyer an i told him my situation an he suhgest the same as you said an told me I’ve a good case for vawa so I’m waiting on my notice to see exactly what they gonna do.

hmmm same time happened to me , I had strokes interview I went my husband didnot show up and the officer denied my application… Just pray for grace from your officer

@carlene they are all abusers they always want you to do whatever they say or take control of your life and money and if you refuse to they tell you they won’t continue the application. Am just so tired of all this

I’m so sad to read this. Wishing you strength and my advice is to look into Vawa as soon as you can. I hope you have some support even if it’s just from the counsellor.

I purchased a car he take plates off i had to turn over my vehicle to him, when I work ive to give my pay cheque. I said why are you doing this all of s sudden. his family in his head too.
