@Disha Patel 751 have absolutely nothing to do with your state because field offices do not process 751. Everything depends on the Service Center where your application is. There are 6 USCIS Service Centers, mine is at the California Service Center currently.

@Disha Patel nope, that's not true. All 751, 130, 131 cases are handled by the USCIS Service Centers. If the Service Center needs Biometrics, interview etc, they will transfer your case to your Field Office. I am also NY state but my case is currently at the California Service center, it was transferred from Texas Service Center to California. If an interview is waived, the Service Center handles the case from start to finish.

when u applied for citizenship because the i751 can take up too 4years that why they gave u a 4 years extension but with the citizenship the wait time is 9 months Maxs then u call them that’s what I do now both my cause is scheduled for interview am from ny also@soul soul

I’m having the same issue, I applied in September 2022 tell now no update and for N400 I applied in November 2025 no update tell now
