I am the same here my case was in Nebraska and now I knew that they transferred it to Vermont. PD 30/5/2021 do you know if this will effect the processing time

sorry @hydi. sorry to hear that! they say that transfers don’t affect the processing times but my question is why transfer to the slowest site if the goal is to balance the work load.! my PD is November 2nd, 2020 and I am a US citizen petitioning for my west African husband who live there . I hope my case retains my original processing time of 9 to 11.5 months. I will be sad if the processing time is that of Vermont. good luck to everyone waiting

@nic I have no idea why would they transfer it to a slower center. I also heard that even though that they transfer it to a slowest center it does not mean that it will delay the process some people PD on Feb 2021 and got approved last month so hopefully we will not wait too long
