@zaid ihmedan Your processing time average is 19 months for your field office. You are still within normal times for this office. I am pasting how to look it up. It states you cannot contact them until Feb 2026. There are drop downs to follow. You can sue after Feb to get an answer if they have not decided yet. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

@Kingsley B 19 months from the date of filing thats more than 19 months and i every time i call them each person say something different one of them told me that u need to file a form for case taking longer than expected and he did things are not understandable and my lawyer is not giving any notice or any updates

@zaid ihmedan It is not about the average time it takes. The date I said is indicated as the soonest you can ask about it. 19 is their average but that does not mean all cases. Your lawyer cannot get answers and calling them will not do anything. My husband is a lawyer and my immigration lawyer is his friend. Thet are unable to do anything. It is a waiting game. You need to be far out of processing time to start pushing it. Sorry you are going through this.

mine is Dec 4th 2023 am tired don’t know what to do, my travel document came in April and I booked a flight to travel to my country but am now scared to travel with it🤦‍♀️

@Christine Njeru Hi, read your answer. Travel with your 131. The only reason to be fearful is if you have previous immigration issues or a criminal charge.

@Christine Njeru it is safe to travel with ur travel documents i did it twice and its okay

@Christine Njeru yes i did in march for a month and coming back in was smooth they just gonna take you to a secondary inspection then u will wait for 10-30 min then they will let you in it's very smooth as long u follow there instructions

@zaid ihmedan The 131 is good for 2 years. I used mine many times for short trips to Canada. I was never taken to secondary.
