write a letter to them to expedite your I 485. I have done the same thing last year. I sent them 7 letter every other week and my GC was approved based on U visa. if you EAD expires, then sent them letter with all of your copies of bills, rent, mortgages, car insurance, cell phone bill, like you are having financial loss, job loss, attached all the thing. send them like 5-8 time every other week. mine got approved on last May 5 2022 applied on June 15,2021. @skc kc thank you for your responses. what was your reasoning if EAD wasn’t expired and did u send them by your self of you have send them through attorney?

oh, My EAD from u visa for 4 years was expired and I didn’t get EAD after I have applied my GC. I didn’t use lawyer to send those paper, I write the letter by my own and attached those bills and explain them the situation to process my I-485. then they send me RFE about medical and once they got rfe from my side. I just keep continuing sending same letter to them and they approved my GC. but they never approved my EAD from GC or travel document or advance parole card after I have applied my GC through U visa. I got directly GC.

I got u visa on feb 2018 with EAD expiration date feb, 2022. applied GC on June, 2021. end of dec 2021-send them letter that I am going to loose my job and my job wants to I-9 verification letter. send them 2 letter on Jan, contact congressman of Texas on 1st week of Feb and they send a letter on behalf of me to process my EAD on 3 week of Feb to uscis . send them ( uscis) another letter by me on Feb 1st week with the help of my manger and behalf of the company I work for and on Feb 22 ( my EAD expire got terminated from job ) . I send them 2 more letter every other week on march. march 25 got RFE for medical- replied them on April 2. send them another letter to expedite my GC because lost of my job and bills due and cannot afford my rent, CC bill, cell phone, car insurance bill. May 5 card produced on I-485 section

I had my finger prints on 06/14/2018 not heard yet from uscis
