Once you have been DQ’d, your case will be transsferred to the chosen embassy of yours. Embassy, then, will be scheduling your interview.

Once you receive DQ, transferring to embassy is quite fast. However, how fast interview gets scheduled varies depending on each embassy and their schedules.

@Merve . I am here in the US. petitioned for my wife she lives in Turkey. Its CR1 visa. my pd is Apr 7th 2022. Noa1 says its been received by TSC but I asked to an live agent using chat,the agent told me its been processing at VSC since Noa1 date. Vermont Service Center is crazy 16 months or so for the 80% of cases completed. I hope it will be less. Its been 10 Months already. Please keep posting . I hope you here from NVC soon. Ciao.

@CR1 VSC my first letter also said Texas but it was reviewed in Nebraska. yea unfortunately it takes a year nowadays. I wrote to the congresman he would contact my service center every 10 days to expedite. but i dont think it helped as it got approved way after. but you can also give it a try with your congressman too.

@merve merve I’ll break down my timeline for you i130 submission 9/17/2021 (started at Nebraska but later transferred to Texas) under review 2/14/2022 accepted 7/4/2022 sent to the nvc in July welcome letter 7/22/2022 submitted everything by 7/24/2022 additional information 9/23/2022 additional submission 9/24/2022 DQd 11/9/2022 no interview date as of yet….. there are so many people waiting for interviews for catergories cr1/ir1 unfortunately.

@merve merve yes, I’m waiting for Ankara. Unfortunately, it is taking a while so come February I’ll be on Month 3. It’s nothing but a waiting game for now.

@merve merve yes, we’re both Turkish Citizen, I have dual citizenship. The embassy has started giving dates for interviews. I follow a group and most of everyone with October DQs received interview dates for March.
