Stem opt after I-140 approval
I got a notice that my 140 has been approved.
My OPT is expired on Aug..
I am wondering if I have to wait for STEM-OPT Extension and submit 485.
Or is it better to submit 485 right away?

talk to a lawyer. But for what I know you can’t apply to your stem-opt, since that’s tied to your F1 which is a non-immigrant status. You’ll have to apply to your I-485 with I-765 and I-131, and do it ASAP, so you don’t have to stop working and you’ll have a status
