Stayed over 6months but less than a year outside.
hi people! has anyone overstayed 6months but less than a year had the N400 interview? please share your experience. did the officer ask reasons you had to travel with proof to show why you travelled? I know you have to show proof that you still maintained your residence. just thinking outside the box if they also want proof to see what you traveled for. please advise,Thank you.

I Have staid outside of the united state more than six month less than one year cause I was stuck cause the COVID and airport was closed and I tried to contact the US Embassy to come back and I saved all this emails and when I went to the Citizenship interview they asked me why did you stay more than six months and they asked me do you have any approve that you tried to come back did you have a plane ticket to the way back… and I showed them all the email between me and the us embassy and I wrote an explanation letter to them . and I have been waiting for over 2 months for their decision either approve or denied. my advice to you go to the lawyer I wish if I took my lawyer with me, because thwy ask slick questions .
