status update taking long after approval
hi
my i485 status changed to "New card bring produced" on Jul 24 and "Case approved" on Jul 25. for last 8 days it's hasn't changed to "card is mailed to you" etc. is that normal? are there delays in cards shipment?
my combo card didn't take that much time but actual green card is taking so long after approval.
I have been tracking USPS informed delivery as well

@Eb1 C yes received the courtesy copy of notices yesterday. our attorney received the original approval notice before us

same here it was fast for EAD, but for Green card, status shows card was mailed, no tracking number from USPS. It’s 18 days since the status message. Patience is the key, seems delay from USCIS end.

@del Kh Hi, it’s same for me. Mine got approved on 24th July. Received approval notice but no status change after Approval.

@Raj veer USPS informed delivery shows the cards were picked this evening and should be delivered by Aug 8. check yours as well. there was no notification from USPS, I proactively checked it.

@del Kh Thank You. Yes I did check it after getting Tracking number from Live Agent. USPS status shows picked up today and will be delivered by 7th August.

@del Kh Great Congratulations!!! Mine is yet to come. Tracking shows expected to deliver by 3:00. I guess few hours of more waiting. Which state is your coming from and in which state you are? Mine is coming from St Louis and I am in ILLINOIS.
