I am so excited! Anyone with a case based in Dominican Republic, can tell me how long it take to have an interview date after all is said and done with NVC? #DominicanRepublic #NVC

was it just your I-130 that was approved? if so that doesn’t get you a green card and I’m sorry to be a bummer if you didn’t know that. once your I-130 is approved you would have to apply for a I-485. unless they were concurrently filled. however you will not have anything sent to NVC until your I-485 is approved 🥺
I myself finally received approval on my I-130 today as well. 375 days. but sadly my I-485 is still pending so it’s a sit and wait game 🥺

@miaa brown correct once that is filed and approved it will be sent to NVC. and following after that is the interview date wait time. 😅 I understand, my post was probably making me sound confused. my sister is one step ahead of me. So, I am able to see how her process is going. her I-485 was approved with-in 14 days. now she is waiting for her interview date

@miaa brown trust me it won’t take long for it to get approved!! 🙌🏾 you gotta have faith!

@Rushamah Mercius Lebron I don’t understand how she filled a i485 if she have to do a consular processing? after i130 approval ypu do NVc step and them wait for Interview in the Dominican Rep consular! but you don’t filled an i485 if you are doing consular process!

@Rushamah Mercius Lebron or you mean her NVc process was approved with-in 14 days! right? I’m doing my mom case! she is DQ already just waiting for interview in Dom.Rep too!

it’s taking between 5 to 7 months after DQ to get an interview in the DR.
Rushamah Mercius Lebron Jul 22, 2023
@Alina li after she filed the I-130 for her husband in DR and was approved. she submitted all the documents required, and they were approved 14 days after. now she is waiting for his interview date. I don’t know if that makes sense. but one thing she told is to make sure everything you submit is correct, so you don’t waste time having to find the right documents for them to approve. she also helped one of her family members, who is already in New York. following the approval of the I-130 everything was quick for him, so long as everything was done Correctly. now these cases are all spousal cases by US citizens, so I can’t really speak for different cases, and even US Citizen cases aren’t all the same. but i do wish you well on your mothers case!🙏🏾

@Rushamah Mercius Lebron okayyy Now you right! I just was confused about the i485 because we don’t have to filed this form for them bc they aren’t in the us! so yeah everything else is correct
