Status changed to Request for Evidence
My I-485 status is updated today to "Request for Evidence was sent". My PD is June 2011 eb3. What kind of RFE are people generally getting these days?

most likely medical rfe, did you submit your medical before with I 485?

Yes, I did but that was back in Nov 2020

your old medical probably expired so they want a new one. I’d sssume that’s why they’re sending RFE

I had submitted the immigration medicals l-693 in Nov 2020 a long with my 485. I received an RFE now to submit a new I-693 as the form is more than 2 years old. I contacted the civil surgeon that had provided me the medicals last time. what she is saying is I do not have to do the blood work and TB(quantiferon) test again. The old tests with new I-693 form should work. Is that correct? I feel tests should be repeated. Anyone has any experience.
