Status change Actively being reviewed.
Hi, I am a permanent resident from Pakistan I had applied permanent resident status for my wife through Form I-130 it's been two years since I applied and the status hasn't changed from being actively reviewed on USCIS site. When can I expect a status change or how much more time would it take for the case to move on?

it might take a while because I believe the visas for permanent residence filing for spouse or family are limited. however if you become a citizen then the number of visas available for your spouse or minor children is unlimited and will be faster.

The number of visas is irrelevant for the i-130 petition ...this is simply to verify that you are eligible to apply for the green card (ie the marriage is legit).
The next step in the process is the i-485...this IS affected by visa numbers and you are restricted by the visa bulletin
