Adjustment of status
Hi, how are you?
I have an O1 Visa valid until Dec-2024 (my husband has an O3). Now, we are waiting for the approval of the I-131, I-485, and I-765 (the I-140 is already approved).
Knowing that the visa is still valid, do you know if there are any risks if we travel to our country in March?

to the best of my knowledge (I’m not sure if it’s correct) you shouldn’t travel without an I-131 (AP) even if you have a valid visa becuase your I-485 application will considered abandoned, consult with a lawyer

Hi! You cannot travel without AP (I-131). You may be lucky and receive it in March but I wouldn’t plan anything for now.
let us know when you receive your EAD please. i am in the same situation but a bit behind you. Happy holidays!

hi, i’m also on an O1 valid til dec 2024, with an approved I-140 and am waiting on the others - exact same situation as you! as others above me said, with a pending I-485 and a current O1 we are unable to travel without our AP. crossing my fingers for you that yours arrives before march!
